Today’s Schedule:

02|13|10 10:30 a.m. Daytona 500 final practice

02|13|10 1 p.m. Drive4COPD 300

02|13|10 6:30 p.m. NextEra Energy Resources 250

02|14|10 1 p.m. Daytona 500

Well wasn’t yesterday fun? (Sarcasm) Ok no it wasn’t especially if you were traveling from some place in the south to try and get to Daytona and if you were at Daytona you needed to be warm and have rain gear. Well the rain is done we will have a long exciting day of racing Saturday. The full schedule is above. It will also be nice for Sunday’s Daytona 500.

Really the biggest concern will be winds and the cold temperatures. Now watching the Bud Shootout & then the 150 Duels it sounded like the cold temps give the car more speed and maybe more grip, but early on I think there may make the tires slick until they come up to temp. I am not good with all that and if someone wants to enlighten me PLEASE DO. I would love to know more about how weather (besides rain) and temperatures impact the stock car.
